The Columbus marathon takes place on Sunday October 17th it starts near the intersection of Broad and Third Streets in down town Columbus at 7:30 am for both walkers and runners.
Loads of different categories from experienced runners down to kids, awards will be given to the winners form different age groups, last year’s winners and times were, Mark Folk - Perrsburg, OH 2:20:45 and Rachel Kinsman, Archbold, OH 2:47:44.
The Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon is one of the top 25 largest marathons in the United Sates, in fact it’s so popular that president Obama and first lady Michelle Obama will be spectating, other special guests include John Legend who will be performing live at 6pm.
The Columbus marathon is also one of the nation’s top chair racing marathons, with many top racers being present.
I don’t know about you but there is no way i could run a marathon today!
